today’s image is a "still life" taken in San Francisco at my friend’s home. I had my birthday gift, a Canon 40D, since a couple of days and Tracy mentioned the setup of "highlight priority" in the camera functions. We’ve set the function on and Mark gave me his 85mm/1.2 lens to make a shot. To my left I had this "set" and clicked the shutter. Focused through the glass you see in the foreground and got the second wine glass sharp. I like how the optical distortion came out. Also the overall tonal range is well balanced.
Right after clicking the shutter, I experiencd my very first earthquake in my life, two hits, like when a truck hits the house… man, I was scarred and Tracy and Mark just smiled 🙂
