… surrender to her world
I heard a voice
so pure and easy
a songbird singing for me
I had no choice
only to listen
and surrender to her world…

Slightly different version from that on vazaar, but I think this one fits more with your poem; profound, as usual! The antique-effect brings a sense of another time, well in the past (the strict Victorian era), and is appropriate to the theme. I like it! ;)
I like the atmosphere and the photoshop work of the image - very good job
wow... that's a very interesting composition. i like it!
Well, I have to say I don't feel that the words go with the image. The subject to me is dark and almost pessimistic, whereas the words are light and optimistic. The clipped wings are a horrific reminder of how dreams and aspirations can be curtailed - nothing worse than the bird that is caged, or cannot fly. The downturned gaze of the model is also not optimistic. A powerful image
.. I forgot to mention the perhaps obvious symbolism of the "wings" and the "armless" pose. I'm not sure if this is the main motif of the image or not.....
sehr schön vernont. klasse komposition mit den flügeln!
What an outstanding image! The clarity of theme and subtleties of light really make this. WOW!
Vernon, do you have a tutorial or the like kicking around, that you would be willing to share, on how you make these cool borders? Cheers, Craig.
